Default Part I

Lost at Sea
  • Ellyria was overtaken by the goblins for almost the fifty years.
  • It is believed that there was no human survivor.
  • Player is under the king's order to explore Ellyria for unknown reason. Even Captain Fink was unaware of this fact.

Chapter 1: Wolf's End
  • Captain Fink is still remain stranded. (Send the words to the king already!)
  • Captain Fink named his ship Nioble.
  • The villagers and Sigismund Hocke came to Ellyria around fifty years ago, it was an expedition set to rescue his father's barony.
  • Sigismund Hocke is the son of Baron Hocke.
  • Mayor Ristas was a boy drummer.
  • Two generations of fighters have been resisting the Goblins.
  • The villagers are afraid of goblins, they can't even take a swim because of Kraken.
  • The villagers have never seen other humans besides the player, they thought they were alone, to the point, it is believed that the tale of other human exists outside of Ellyria is just a fairy tale.
  • According to the old records, Baron Hocke employed the wisest man in the world, Nephit to aid with his research.
  • It's mentioned that Nephit is trying to control the goblins and the undead.
  • The wands of goblin shamans are used to control the Death Eyes.
  • Goblins smells horribly.
  • Dragons are thought have been gone for thousands of years.
  • The Dragon Bones are powerful artifacts.
  • It is mentioned that Baron Hocke was obsessed with old crypts.
  • Further a bit on the road, there lies an old shrine where the first undead rose.
Goblin Kidnappers
  • The Kraken was 120 years old. (RIP)
  • First mentioning of Sleeping Lands. Goblin's souls go to Sleeping Lands?
  • The fleet that the player defeated was their last.
  • First mentioning of Nephit.
  • *Heavy Spoiler* Cheer to open the door!
Goblin Camp
  • One of the goblin minions have foolishly mistaken player as Nephit.
  • The majority of the goblins hated Nephit.
  • One of the fallen goblin said, "I hope I won't rise from the dead". (First mentioning of Nephit's ability to raise the dead?)
  • It seemed the Goblins are aware they are losing the war?
  • Sleeping Lands. One of them mentioned they will never see it again. Are Goblins from Sleeping Lands?
Nephit's Quest
  • The tomb is called Tomb of the Slumbering King.
  • Along the wall, there are weird drawings depicting a figure and an eye surrounded by a magic circle.
  • "He can open the passage.." Goblins are looking a way to return to sleeping lands? Nephit is their answer?
  • First mentioning of Dream Dragon by Nephit.
  • Nephit was excavating this tomb during the goblin's invasion and it implies that he died here.
  • Goblins have been looking for a way back to the Sleeping Lands.
  • In the last room, it seems there is an object appears similar to the Capstone.
The Dragon's Dream
  • This tomb is older than thousands of years.
  • Skeleton minion mentioned that they were once like the player, trying to slay the dragon, that's the reason why they looked so dead.
  • First mentioning of Rolyn the Great, he once had a special magic weapon?
  • Is one of the carvings on the wall depict a dragon attacking Castle Hocke?
  • On the broken wall where the drawing seems to depicting people celebrating the victory of the battle, also, there is a gravestone symbol nears it. Did Rolyn the Great died after he defeated the dragon?
  • Did one of the ghost minion made an accurate prediction? "You dream you'll save the world".
  • Sythokahn's real body is asleep somewhere at Sleeping Lands?
  • Oh no. It appears by killing him, the player woke him up.

Chapter 2: Black Rose Mire
  • Player had read about Tuatara in the old stories.
  • Dane: "Yornak Family is another tragic tale."
  • "The invasion from Sleeping Lands have corrupted everything." Lizards are originated from Sleeping Lands too?
  • Since Lizards are in control of Black Rose Mire zone, could it be they were having wars with the Goblins at Wolf's End? The Goblins did mention something about losing the war, the cause wasn't player?
  • Speak with Affric. It's the first clue of Nephit's involvement in Black Rose Mire as player is closely approaching the other Tuatura's General.
  • It's possible that Tuatura's invasion only happened recently since Vizier experiment hasn't gone that far.
  • Treants and Devourers were the result of Vizier's experiment, supported by the fact that Black Rose Mire is surrounded by monstrous environment and a proof of conversation with the elderly villager, Odem has confirmed it. (Didn't realise this until I was staring right at a treant and thinking, "Wait a second, they looks like Yornak!")
  • General Svar controls the soldiers of Tuatara Legions, while General Grand Vizier Hslat is directly responsible behind the foul magic that turns plant into devourer and human into treant, and General Svath, the leader who was behind this invasion, believed that his brother wasn't doing enough, he allied himself with Nephit and created a Legion of the Undead.
Tower of the Tuatara
  • First mentioning of General Svar.
Mystery of the Yornak
  • Vizier's experiment being mentioned.
  • On the wall of first room, there is a carving depicting three stick figures, Garzon, Thegrott, Morova attempting to slay Yornak?
  • Two lizards implied that Vizer's experiment is still being performed!?
  • Yornak was a test subject for Vizier's experiment.
  • One of the lizard asked, "You've come to release Lord Yornak?".
  • Yornak was once a human, he was the former governor of Black Rose Mire.
  • Two Gravestones can be found on the Lord Yornak's garden.
  • From the Gravestone Inscription, it appeared Garzon was buried first by Morova and Thegrott, followed by Thegrott who unfortunately died later, buried by the only party member left, Morova who swear to avenge his death. There is no sign Morova's whereabouts, did he survive?
  • Interestingly, player can tells from the gears that drops by Lord Yornak. Morova was a Mage, Thegrott was a Paladin, and Garzon was a Rogue. The gears (magic version) are named after them.
  • Since Morova's gears can be found in Yornak's possession, does this mean he didn't make it out alive too?
Svar's Spite
  • Apparently player's life was quite cheap, General Svar only offered 1000 gold to whoever ends his life.
  • It seemed there had been a trade going on between General Vizer and the Goblins, one Lizard mentioned that Goblin's magic is worthless, General Vizier made a mistake by buying those Death Eyes which later, was defeated easily by the player.
  • General Svar introduced himself as the Leader of Tuatara Vanguard.
Lair of the Ooyak
  • More mentioning of General Vizier.
  • Vizier was breeding carnisaur here to serve as mount for the Tuatara's soldiers.
Citadel of the Vizier
  • There is a library here, Vizier has perverted the Citadel's wisdom for evil.
  • Lizards are extremely sensitive creature. Please stop touching them.
  • Player has successfully delay the invasion by at least a season.
  • Two of Vizier's mounts were named, Sasyak and Vayak.
Mindless Queen's Glade
  • This place used to be Royal Granary, a wonder of the world, the whole region was the breadbasket of the empire.
  • One of the treants was once a human farmer, his family tended the field.
  • The Devourer Queen was possibly the result of Vizier's sinister experiment.
The Great Green Svath
  • In the first room, a necromancer said, "Now Dragons raise them anew". (Does the power of raising the dead originated from the dragon or was the mage simply referring to Nephit's involvement with their leader, Svath the dragon?)
  • Nephit taught General Svath to kill everything, enslave the undead. At the same time, he lied to the General, stating that Svath was un-killable.
  • Svath and Svar were brothers.
Arachnae's Swamp
  • The road is overrun with Vizier's experimental monsters. The road was intentionally blocked by monsters, as ordered by Hslat.
  • One of the treants was shouting that Hslat ordered no one shall pass.
  • A treant tried to warn the player about Felbridge.. or not.
  • It's unlikely that the road block was an accident since the exit was guarded by the biggest abomination of all.

Chapter 3: Felbridge
  • You will get weird vibes from the people here. Something is definitely not right around here.
  • First mentioning of Harvest Festival.
  • If you have completed all of the main quests at the normal world, here lies your First Portal to the Dread.
  • The name, Wizard Caphrax was mentioned by Bella Sagesword.
  • Some of the locals here were unaware of other humans exists outside of their town. One of them was even surprised to hear there are people living in south of the swamp.
  • According to Steward, the people of Felbridge settled here 40 years ago, they came from a far land where they were once slaves.
  • Steward dislikes outsider very much, he even sent the soldiers from Wolf's End to stay at the Cemetery Hill.
  • The magical shield surrounding Castle Hocke is the reason why the people of Felbridge are safe, only Steward knows how it works.
  • Steward has long protected the people of Felbridge ever since they have settled in.
  • Steward had a journal which reveals his cult had performed the human sacrifice at the mountain peak.
  • Warden Maximilian revealed that decades ago, his people came through the castle below from the Sleeping Lands, they were slaves to the Dragons and Goblins.

Good write up, looking forward to the next instalment.

Not sure about Thegrott's class - he's got a legendary robe named after him as well.

Omg! All three of them do!.. But the gears are legendary. I guess you can't apply logic to this one. Unless.. they are "mix class"? In other words, although they are mainly mage or rogue, they could use other class power? or did they borrowed each other's gear and never returns it.

And i never thought someone would comment something about this thread. Sorry for the bad English and the limited vocabulary. But it surprised me although i have played this long, i missed out some of the Trivia facts.

Whst I don't get is what does nephit seek? Also how did lizards and goblins end up where they are in the first place? Maybe the emperor sent them from the sleeping lands? If yes then they can't be rivals right? And how did nephit reincarnate? Did he use his great wisdom? I just don't understand what's the connection to nephit in all of this. He seems to be the ruler of many creatures and ally with the monsters. Is he trying to sneak in and steal the emperors power?

Lizards and Goblins were from Sleeping Lands. In the past, there were two monster forces in control on SL, Goblins and Dragons. Goblins served under Goblin King, was the first monster horde to invade, Lizards are just minions, serving the Dragon's Legion. I don' know why they invade, anyhow, they were known as fearful and tyrant monsters, had human slaves. The emperor's role comes later, he was Baron Hocke's son, tried to rescue his father's barony. He made it to SL, make a pact with Seelie, defeated the Goblin King and i think the remaining goblins ran away from SL. As far as i know, Nephit don't know Sisgumend Hocke, they are unrelated, Nephit only revive much later after Hocke became the Emperor, his only power is that he can raise the undead, method unknown but you are right, he allied himself with many monsters on Ellyria. As for how Nephit repeatedly reincarnate himself, the giant eyeball is his actual real form. He was looking for a way to restore himself, most importantly, he want a spell that Titus refused to give him when he still alive.

Not him. His father. Nephit helped Baron Hocke create the Capstone. According to Titus, Capstone is used to seal the portal, limits the travel between realms and Nephit was trying to break it? and then, we found out Nephit want to drain its energy, i will live again, ancient secret is mine.. blah blah. Based on that boss scene, i think SL is not on Nephit's "to do" list.
